Kelly Jean started acting at age 5 where she was offered a place with Cool Cat's Cabaret perfoming under the direction of Ella Flair, formly known as Melbourne's Queen of Cabaret. Kelly toured all around Australia with the company. Kelly stayed with Cool Cat's Cabaret for seven, perfroming many seasons at well known venues nationally. Kelly then went onto study Acting at the University of Melbourne, completing an undergraduate degree in perfroming arts and later going onto complete a dipoma of Education specializing in Drama Studies. Kelly futher immersed herself in the performing arts by studying a one year foundations program at the Victorian Collage of the Arts. Kelly then did further training with international agent manager Craig MaMahon, under the direction of AFI award winning actress Glenda Linscott, Peter Philp and Jan Russ, Neighbours director. While studying acting Kelly has participated in countless productions, regulary makes TV apperances on shows such as Neigbours, Rush and her most recent work is on the hit t.v show winner's and losers. Kelly also teachers acting to young adults at various high schools across Melbourne. |
